Students will have:

• worked on an open-ended collaborative design project based on multiple sources of information
• gained insight into the peer review process
• gained a knowledge of gas properties and applied that knowledge to an authentic problem

The design challenge can be extended to exploring the atmospheres of Venus, Mars, or other planets and moons.   NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies is an excellent starting point.
